What the heck is a Fleadh (pronounced "fla"), you say? It’s the Irish (i.e. Gaelic) word for festival. So why is there one in London?? Another good question—but in case you haven’t heard, everybody’s getting along just fine now. And if there’s one thing the Irish and English have always had in common, it’s great music and a fabulous sense of fun. This years' London Fleadh acts include Neil Young and Crazy Horse, the Waterboys, Billy Bragg and the Blokes, Aimee Mann, Afro Celt Sound System, Gary Moore, Glenn Tilbrook and many more.

So, the line-up is sublime and you can expect the Adventures in Rock touch of many extra perks (VIP hospitality etc.) This package also includes 3 nights in 4-star accommodations in the dead center of London, a night in clubland, our fabulous BBC DJ music journalist guide who will show you the ins and outs of this dirty old town and much, much more.

June 14th - Thursday
Depart US on an overnight flight to London

June 15th - Friday
Arrive London, R&R, welcome orientation, night on the town
Upon arrival in London, we think you’ll be pleased with the location and amenities your Central London hotel provides. Here you'll have some time to rest and relax or explore this incredibly cool part of the city. Our 4 star hotel is within walking distance of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the Millennium Wheel and so much more!

In the late afternoon our guide, Jon, will meet you in the hotel bar for a drink and brief orientation. Then you’re off for a night on the dirty old town! Jon will have scouted high and low to figure out the coolest spot for this evening’s club night out.

June 16th - Saturday
London Fleadh, Finsbury Park
This morning is at your leisure. Festival gates open at 11 AM—Jon will be available to escort you via tube to Finsbury Park at 1 PM and will be leaving precise directions for those who wish to make their own way. The Fleadh is an open air event with two stages; licensed bars and food will be available. Full lineup to date:

A fabulous festival right in the middle of London (no hoof and mouth worries!!)—what could be better?

June 17th - Sunday
Free morning, afternoon Rock, Walk and Stroll tour
Sleep in this morning to clear out those cobwebs. We meet up again in the early afternoon for a tour of London’s rock & roll landmarks, with a special emphasis on the Celtic influences. Thrill to expertise of tour guide Jon--native Londoner (with his own fair share of Irish blood), music journalist, professional rock tour guide described by the West End Extra as a "font of amazing facts and obscure trivialities." He’ll show you a few of his favorite pubs along the way!

Check out the gig guide again to see what's going on in London tonight. Perhaps you’d like a small rockin’ club gig, an intimate jazz evening, a show in the West End or maybe a great dinner. Jon’s your man—he’s got all the inside dirt on what’s happening and where.

June 18th - Monday
Return flights to US
After a leisurely breakfast its back to the airport for your flight home.
